Loaded question right?
I guess we are all afraid of rejection. But hey, my first born book, the one I have been working on forever that has gone through more incarnations than some Hollywood stars have facelifts...well I am getting ready to publish. Finally.
Feedback is what I am looking for. Would these two chapters be enough for YOU to want to follow through to the end?
If enough peeps are interested, I will post the first two chapters tomorrow. Maybe I'll do it anyway? I'd love to hear why maybe I shouldn't.
Here is a quick blurb I have written:
Working title: Storm Season
They say you can’t go home again. Adam Klay never intends to; until the death of his famous father forces his return to Skagit, Washington. Cleaning up his father’s messy life was never high on Adam’s bucket list. Even worse, Adam is inexplicably drawn to the elusive, terminally-clumsy, gorgeous, Micah Ryan. No way is he getting involved with someone from his hometown, he’s always said the best view of Skagit was in his rearview mirror.
Micah Ryan has been coasting on auto-pilot since his family was killed in a car accident a decade ago. He runs a web business and has a cat. He hardly leaves his house, unless it is for his afternoon espresso. His world tips upside down when Adam Klay rolls into town. For the first time in years he feels alive. Unfortunately, someone has noticed Micah’s return to the living and doesn’t seem to appreciate it.
As danger and chaos threaten, will Adam and Micah have a chance to teach each other to love, to forgive, to accept? Who wants them dead and will they come out on the other side with their lives and love intact?
